In 1997 Rick Jones invented the first ever 1/8 Inch Adjustable Billet 4-Link Chassis Brackets to offer racers the adjustability they needed. Ever since racers and builders alike have ranked the Quarter-Max's Extreme 1/8 Inch Adjustable Billet 4-Link Chassis Brackets Kit as one of the most popular and beneficial upgrades you can make to your chassis. When considering adjustable 4-Link brackets for your build, don't settle for anything other than the original and the best! Install this kit and trust that it was invented, designed, manufactured, tested, and world championship proven by RJ and our customers for over 20 years. This kit offers more strength, a wider range of adjustability, and more bracket style options than any other kit on the market.

When tuning a car with traditional one piece 4-link brackets, the smallest change you can make to the spread is 5/8" to 1" or more. With this system, you are able to make spread and bar angle adjustments in 1/8" increments. This kit features our billet weld-on chassis brackets that utilize a unique bolt-on 4-link plate system with a key way that allows both top and bottom 4-link plates to independently move up and down in increments of 1/8". This allows for fine tune adjustments to be made to the instant center of the 4-link with over 900+ setup combinations available in the chassis brackets alone.

This system uses a unique key way system for extra strength. By removing the three 3/8" bolts, the plates slide in the keyway and adjust in 1/8" increments. There is a 1/2" range of adjustment in the keyway before needing to adjust the rod end to the next hole. The 1/2" holes for the 4 link rod end are on a 5/8" spacing.

We offer 4 different styles of weld-on billet chassis brackets. The weld-on chassis brackets are CNC machined from billet 4140 with all holes drilled and reamed for an exact fit. They are available in different heights/configurations to fit any chassis/crossmember setup:

• 13" center-to-center, 1-5/8" round tube notches (original RJ version)
• Laid back top notch, 1-5/8" round tube notches (fits most Bickel and Haas chassis)
• Blank, no top notch, 1-5/8" lower round tube notch (fit your own top crossmember, lower notch is preset)
• Blank, no notches top or bottom, universal fit, able to be fit to any notch location desired for round tubes or square tube chassis

All versions of the weld-on brackets use our same bolt-on 4-link plates. 

We offer 3 different styles of bolt-on plates: The bolt-on upper and lower plates are CNC machined from billet 4140, and are heat treated for added strength to prevent hole elongation, and then zinc plated to provide years of consistent performance on even the most extreme Pro Mod applications. Upgrade to the titanium option to save 4-1/2 pounds.

• Standard Plates work for big tire and small tire applications with a typical rear ride height of 4-6 inches (from the bottom of the 4 link crossmember to ground).
 Low Plates lowers the 4 link range 1-7/8" and works really well for steel body cars that need to sit higher than 6 inches at the crossmember in the rear for tire clearance, or for those tuners looking to get the 4 link location extra low. 
 Big Heim Plates are the same as our standard plates but allow more clearance to accommodate a 7/8" thread rod end with a larger body.

The kit comes complete with NAS bolts and ARP 12-point nuts. After all the welding is complete, we recommend reaming the holes using our 7 piece chucking reamer kit #RJ-219850 for a great fit. Do not use a drill bit!
